Job Description:

The position of Business Development Associate at Gyro-Stabilized Systems shall be to solidify relationships with existing clients while developing new clients, taking part in activities and efforts to expand sales and new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides ideas to attract new clients and expand sales
  • Maintains client relationships through regular contact and customer service
  • Assists in the development of marketing materials and website content
  • Finds solutions to client issues
  • Educate clients on new technologies available to them
  • Keeps up with changes in client environments
  • Understands all of the company’s product offerings and clearly communicates them to clients and prospective clients
  • Attends tradeshows and other industry relevant events
  • Recommends short and long-term strategies for business expansion through new product lines or enhanced marketing techniques
  • Assists with or conducts presentations for perspective clients
  • Keep client and perspective client databases updated

Qualifications and Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Understanding of, and experience in, technology sales
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of technical information and the ability to convey this information to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong administrative, clerical, record-keeping, and computing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Technology Sales, or other relevant field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing
