Gyro-Stabilized Systems Showcases the C520 Platform on Land and in Air During the NAB Show

April 7-11, 2013 – GSS started the NAB Show with a private party and product showing at the Aria Resort and Casino, Las Vegas. On display were two C520 platforms outfitted with cameras from Arri and Red and lenses from Angenieux and Canon. We had a great turnout, including our first customer, Teton Gravity Research, and many of our biggest supporters from around the world. Thank-you to all who were able to attend!

What better way to showcase a product than in the environment that it is most often used? So we invited a select few interested in taking the system for a flight test, had a helicopter from Angel City Air fly in from L.A., and rigged it with the C520 Platform. We had extremely positive responses about what we were able to develop in only 1.5 years. The system’s software based functionality is only months from final completion and will be unrivaled in the industry. It’s no secret that our lead hardware/software engineer, Kelly Asher, has had his hands in the software development of both of our primary competitors’ stabilized camera systems. We are thrilled to have Kelly on our team as one of our Managing Partners and are confident that GSS will become the new standard in stabilized camera technology.
