Targeted multi-sensor imagery

The GSS Utility systems integrate the highest quality sensors on the market producing a world-class, high-performance inspection system that utilizes the most advanced camera technology. All systems are custom-built for flexibility. The interchangeable sensors include:

  • Digital Still Photos

  • 4K/HD Daylight Camera

  • High-resolution Thermal IR

  • Corona Detection

  • Geo-Referencing/Tracking

FAST, SAFE and DATA-RICH

Capture the data you need in a single flight from a safe distance with the GSS integrated gimbal platform. Each gimbal houses two to five sensors giving you critical information in one swoop.

  • Higher altitudes and faster flight speeds for the most efficient data collection

  • Fly at 500 feet and capture high-quality images with a longer focal length

  • Geo-referenced, multi-sensor, high-resolution imagery

  • Full solution that allows you to organize and analyze large amounts of collective data

Power Line Inspection

Higher altitudes and faster flight speeds mean you get the data you need as efficiently as possible. For power line inspection, it is most common for our gimbals to be attached rotor wing aircraft for helicopter power line inspections but fixed-wing and marine mount is also available.  With the best sensors in the market combined with the most advanced camera technology, you get reliable high-resolution video and still images as well as multi-spectral imagery in one flight. Secure all the information needed to assess and inform a variety of power line maintenance and distribution issues for:

  • Transmission and Distribution

  • Vegetation Management

  • Storm Damage Assessment

Visual inspection, video and still imagery, and UV/IR offer you the ability to:

  • Engage in fact-based decision-making with high-definition imagery

  • Identify fault points

  • Create an electronic image of corona discharge activity

  • Capture geographical locations and points of interest

Pipeline Inspection

For both routine and emergency assessment, our integrated, stabilized and flexible aerial pipeline inspection platform ensures you capture the information and imagery needed for situational assessment, damage control, and addressing potential oil and gas pipeline threats in the fastest, most cost-effective way possible. The multi-functional system is ideal for a variety of departments including:

  • Operations & Maintenance

  • Storm Recovery and Emergency Work

The GSS Utility systems enable you to:

  • Rapidly confirm the presence of any petroleum or natural gas pipeline leak or anomaly (Pipeline leak detection including subsurface pipelines)

  • Procure detailed observation of petroleum or natural gas pipeline right of way (ROW)

  • Conduct ROW surveys

  • Identify and pinpoint ROW encroachment to assist with pipeline integrity assessment

  • Manage your pipeline ROW with integrated IMU/INS system date

Gas Leak Detection

Our systems seamlessly integrate the latest camera and lens technology including OGI (Optical Gas Imaging) cameras for pipeline gas leak detection that allow you to:

  • Visualize and trace gas leaks in real time saving both time and money

  • Monitor parts of a plant that are difficult to reach and would not be doable or cost-effective without aerial gas leak detection

  • Perform inspections from a safe distance to keep your staff protected

  • Reduce harm to the environment

  • Adhere to industry regulatory and compliance mandates

Detectable gases include:
Acetic Acid, Benzene, Butadiene, Butane, Ethane, Ethylbenzene , Ethylene, Heptane, Hexane, Isoprene, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), Methane, Methanol, MIBK, Octane, 1-Pentane, Propane, Propylene, Sulphur Dioxide, Toluene, Vinyl Chloride and Xylene
