Legacy Cineflex Service Policy

For legacy Cineflex systems, we will treat repairs with our ‘best effort’. Depending on the make, model and issue of the system, we may or may not be able to repair the system. Please see below for more information.

 
 

Repairs will be treated as ‘Best Effort’ due to the following:

V14 Serial Numbers:
1 to 50 

GEN I and GEN II systems

  • Many parts are obsolete and no longer available.

  • The Sony 930/950 Camera is obsolete and not serviceable by Sony.

  • No Software changes.

  • End of life cycle product.


V14 Serial Numbers:
50 to 350

GEN III systems including the Cineflex Rugged, Elite and Ultra

  • Some parts are obsolete and no longer available.

  • Software changes will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • No longer manufactured.


V14 MSII Serial Numbers: All 

including Troll systems

  • Many parts are obsolete and no longer available.

  • Payload Cameras are obsolete.

  • No Software changes.

  • End of life cycle product.


V9 Serial Numbers: All

  • Many parts are obsolete and no longer available

  • Payload Cameras are obsolete

  • No Software changes.

  • End of life cycle product.


Please contact the GSS service department to discuss the serviceability of any Cineflex gimbal. Each case is unique and will be evaluated case-by-case. If the gimbal is deemed serviceable an RMA # will be issued. Returned gimbals will be evaluated for a fee of $825.00. Any additional work will be charged for time and materials.
